Cobalt Credit Union Expands Presence with New Branch at Plattsmouth High School

Cobalt Credit Union is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch at Plattsmouth High School. This expansion aims to provide convenient banking services to the school community and foster financial education among students.

Starting January 23, 2024, the Cobalt Credit Union branch at Plattsmouth High School will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM.

The branch will be operated by students from Plattsmouth High School, offering them a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial services. This initiative aligns with Cobalt's commitment to supporting financial literacy and skill development among the youth. By actively participating in the operation of the branch, students will enhance their financial knowledge, skills, and confidence, preparing them for a successful future.

In addition to the new branch, Cobalt installed an ATM at Plattsmouth High School in October 2023. This ATM has already provided convenient access to cash for the school community, and the new branch will further enhance the range of banking services available on-site.

Cobalt Credit Union is dedicated to building strong relationships with local communities and believes that financial education is a key component of empowerment. The Plattsmouth High School branch represents a step forward in realizing this commitment, providing a platform for practical learning and community engagement.
