What is the Veterans Benefits Banking Program (VBBP)?

The VBBP, established in partnership between the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA), connects Veterans and their beneficiaries with trusted banks and credit unions like Cobalt Credit Union. This program offers a safe, reliable, and affordable way to receive and manage VA benefits, ensuring Veterans have access to services tailored to their financial needs.

Why is VBBP Important?

The Veterans Benefits Banking Program promotes financial independence, resilience, and literacy by offering banking solutions designed for Veterans and their families. Through direct deposit and effective financial management tools, the program helps reduce fraud and enhances the security of VA benefits.

Who is Eligible for VBBP?

The VBBP is available to any Veteran, beneficiary, or caregiver receiving federal monetary benefits or stipends from the VA.
